The Precalculus Program
At Colorado State University, precalculus mathematics is taught through an innovative program using guided exploration and a mastery approach to learning. Instruction is provided in an online format, and students are encouraged to interact with instructors and learning assistants in the on-campus or virtual Learning Center. Although much of the coursework can be completed remotely, students are required to complete proctored exams, either on campus or through an online proctoring service.
The Precalculus courses cover topics in College Algebra, Logarithmic & Exponential Functions, and Trigonometry. Each course is one University credit, and students typically register for several courses in a single semester.
- The Precalculus courses have deadlines that must be met to avoid losing points. These are not "self-paced" courses!
- Please review the Student Guide for more information.
- Please review the Online Orientation for an online orientation to the Precalculus Program.
